Bikram Yoga is one of the only hatha yoga methods that works the entire body in every session. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, heal your knee injury, eliminate back pain, stay active as you age, recover from trauma or get your high blood pressure under control, this yoga series is for you. Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises.  It is designed to suit the beginner student and challenge the most veteran practitioner. When done in the prescribed order, the postures work systematically to bring your body into optimal balance.

The more often you take class, the more quickly this occurs. There is no requirement.  You are welcome at every class. Come as you are and let your health unfold. Don't delay. Start feeling better today.

Studio is open 30 mins before class, EXCEPT the early classes, only 15 mins before.

Join us on the third thursday of each month for music class at 6:30pm. This class is appropriate for students who have taken 20+ classes, as it has no verbal instruction.

*Free childcare for the 9am on Sat!

White Woman Writes Yoga Essay

When I was thirty, I had a baby. It was supposed to be the beautiful start of an idyllic young motherhood. But. Then my mom got sick. Then my dad got sick. Then my dad died. Then the dog died. Then the cat died. Then my mom died. And then. And then. And then I was gone. Gone from joy. Gone from vitality.

Bikram Yogis in South Burlington Prepare for Competition

Nica Thomas stands in front of a small audience and a long mirror and begins her routine. She stretches fluidly from side to side, forward and backward. Seemingly boneless, she bends and twists her spine, balances on her hands and pretzels one leg around her neck, the other around an arm.

Nica is 8 years old. With the advantage of youth and gymnastics training, she makes flexibility look effortless. Today she's rehearsing her Bikram moves, and it's clear the Edmunds Elementary School third grader has the skills, poise and confidence to compete. Read More!
